Casa da Guitarra is a musical instrument store that specializes in traditional Portuguese music chordophones. The project Casa da Guitarra, designed by Alfredo Teixeira, was established in 2012 with the primary goal of creating a dedicated space to promote the construction and dissemination of traditional Portuguese chordophones. In addition to being a music instrument store, Casa da Guitarra also supplies wood and other materials necessary for building musical instruments. The store actively promotes concerts, exhibitions, music classes, and workshops, aiming to foster an exchange of experiences among musicians, guitarists, and music enthusiasts. This collaborative environment not only contributes to the preservation of Portuguese musical heritage but also encourages the emergence of new ideas that keep this heritage alive and captivating for future generations.
